What Becomes A Legend Most?

Aaaaaack!  Academy award nominated Diahann Carroll, the first black actress to win a Tony, star in her own TV show, play Sunset Boulevard‘s Norma Desmond and TV’s first black bitch on Dynasty is guesting on the show next week, Tuesday to be exact.  Most recently Carroll was seen on TV as Isaiah Washington’s mum on Grey’s Anatomy, though I don’t watch it.  That story came to a close when Washington was fired for calling TR Knight a fag.  

Anywho, I can’t wait.  I read Carroll’s breezy memoir, The Legs Are The Last To Go, on my holidays to prepare for our chat.  Mark it on your calendars – not to be missed!  Carroll comes to Toronto March 21st for the gala opening of The 519 Community Centre in the heart of the gay village, performing a sold out Evening With Diahann Carroll at the Four Seasons in Yorkville.
