Where did the day go?  I’m busy prepping for two great new episodes of my talk show, one called ’10 Things I’ve Always Wanted To Ask Women’ and the second is a special, marking World AIDS Day which, as always, is December 1st around the world.

So herewith, some snaps shot as I’ve been out and about over the last few days:

The Queen

I’m loving the windows at Holt Renfrew on Bloor Street right now.  Each one themed under the banner ICON, several major designer brands are honoured, from YSL to Louboutin to D&G.  I think my fave is this one, for Burberry.  In this window The Queen of England is sitting at a table at tea time (pound notes and tasty treats abound), visiting with this dude:

The Punk Boy.

I took this next one outside my hairstylist’s studio last week when he gave me a new blond look.  His motto is ‘Get More Gorgeous’ and certainly these are:

Berry Good.

Ever the Halloween enthusiast (to put it mildly; he’s been working on his costume since last month), my fiance Eddie has already carved this year’s pumpkin:

Last night I had the honour of hosting an LGBT event in support of George Smitherman who is set to become Toronto’s first gay mayor when we go to the polls on Monday.  I’m so proud to have known George since we were both young men, and watching his rise through politics (he was, in his last post, Deputy Premiere of Ontario) makes me proud to be Canadian, proud to be from a city like Toronto and proud to be gay.  Special guest last night was Canadian political royalty: Justin Trudeau, who endorsed George.  He’s the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, who famously dated Barbra Streisand said: “The state has no place in the bedrooms of the nation.”  Here are some pics from the event:

And now, an elephant.  Yes, so my Cocker Spaniel Ella and I were out for a walk this afternoon, drinking in another gorgeous autumn afternoon in a favourite park when we rounded the corner to spy:

Apparently, A Movie Was Being Shot.

As my Twitter pal Rhett joked, how did Ella mind the Ella-phant?  Badumpump.  Someone asked me why I take pictures everywhere I go. My answer: Because it forces me to look.
