Happy Monday! Today will be a little on the odd side, but in a good way, as 103.9 PROUD FM kicks off our 3rd birthday week by becoming another radio station – for a day. As our gift to the Gleeks out there (because who among us didn’t ever feel like the outcast, the underdog?), PROUD FM has transformed into GLEE FM for the day (true! tune in!), a partnership with Global TV, which airs the start of the second season tomorrow night. Glee music, Glee trivia, Glee cast interviews, Glee trivia contests and Glee prizing, my 4:20 salute to Sue Sylvester, and by the end of the show this evening, we will be giving away a trip for two to NYC to see GLEE Live – tune it.

I Saw This In A Bar On Holidays And Thought It Says It All.
Last week during one 4:20 commentary on the show I spoke to the idea of celebration versus activism using Toronto Pride as a springboard for a conversation that played out all afternoon. The SPS Poll of the Day that day was: ‘Would you rather see Toronto Pride as a time for activism or celebration, if you could pick just one.’
The broader perspective of this is really asking the question of whether you’d rather look at what’s right with the universe, or what’s wrong with the universe. Continue Reading…
