BE, DO, HAVE :: It’s been an incredibly busy and enormously satisfying two weeks. Last week I was in Ottawa for another shoot for Season 3 of The Shaun Proulx Show. Breakout country star Drake Jensen was my guest at really what can only be described as a shoot within a shoot. A documentary called “Come As You Are” is currently being produced about Drake; I was asked to be the host/interviewer and we built The SPS shoot into that.

Pandemonium. Here at Casa Marano-Proulx we’re painting inside, digging up the front and back gardens, dealing with truckloads of dirt that won’t fit into our lane-way (on top of running a time-sensitive business), and as I observe the mess, trip over bikes stored in the kitchen, navigate my way past towel racks precariously placed in darkened hallways in the middle of the night to pee, I can’t help but appreciate the high-level stimulation and excitement of it all, realizing I am addicted in a good way to a joyous self-crated roller-coaster life.
